On Monday August 19th, The New Faculty Orientation, now called "Welcome and Connect," will take place for new faculty members of the Eberly College of Science (ECoS) community and its teaching culture. It is a half-day interactive, informative session that combines presentations, activities, and networking opportunities.

What it does:

The team at the Grove Center created a useful resource for instructors in Canvas that contains content and information for building a syllabus that aligns with research-based practices for learning as well as the elements recommended by Penn State’s Faculty Senate, and recommendations to take standard syllabus elements to make them more learner-centered and inclusive.
