The Teaching Innovation Showcase is an annual event that brings together educators, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines to celebrate and explore innovative teaching practices. Hosted by the Grove Center, this showcase provides a platform for educators to share their cutting-edge approaches to teaching and learning. Every other year, we partner with the Penn State College of Engineering and the Leonhard Center. In 2024, we will be running the showcase just for our college in December, the week after finals. We will announce the date soon!
Purpose and Format
The primary purpose of the Teaching Innovation Showcase is to highlight the remarkable work being done by instructors within our college. By presenting posters detailing their current teaching innovations, participants inspire their colleagues and contribute to a culture of educational excellence.
The event is structured to encourage meaningful interactions and discussions. While maintaining a professional atmosphere, it allows for engaging conversations and the exchange of ideas. Attendees can learn about pedagogical techniques that can enhance student learning and teaching effectiveness.
