Eberly College of Science–Created Resources
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing student learning experiences, our team created a new Learning Spaces resource. This comprehensive guide provides valuable information and tools for instructors to navigate the diverse range of learning spaces available on campus. From traditional classrooms to collaborative hubs, this resource offers insights into room layouts and technology, as well as photos and insights about rooms.
How the Learning Spaces Resource Came to Be
The creation of the Learning Spaces resource was a collaborative effort involving faculty, staff, and members of our team. We conducted extensive research, reviewed existing learning spaces at Penn State University Park, and gathered feedback from our own instructors. Our goal was to create a guide that empowered instructors to make informed decisions about where and how they teach, ensuring optimal engagement and learning outcomes for students.
Why You Are an Important Part of This Effort
Your expertise matters! As instructors, you have firsthand experiences with these learning spaces. We invite you to contribute your insights, preferences, photos, and feedback to this living document. By sharing your perspectives, you will be helping other instructors shape their learning environments and maximize the impact of these spaces on learning.
