Penn State Undergraduate Teaching Awards

Penn State celebrates the exceptional dedication of undergraduate educators with three prestigious teaching awards: the Milton S. Eisenhower Award for Distinguished Teaching, the George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the Teaching Fellow: Penn State Alumni Association Award for Excellence in Teaching. These awards are a testament to the outstanding commitment of the faculty, with less than one percent of full-time faculty being selected for this honor each year, highlighting the exclusivity and significance of the recognition.

To nominate a faculty member for a teaching award, please complete the Teaching Awards Nomination Form. Nominations are accepted year-round; however, those received after June 30 will be considered for the following year.
